Paleo Chocolate Donuts

This recipe is free of gluten, grains, dairy, refined sugar, and is enthusiastically KID APPROVED. They are as rich and moist as you want a donut to be, and make a great breakfast on the go (or after school snack).


1 cup almond flour

1 cup cassava flour

1 cup coconut sugar

1/2 cup cacao powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

2 eggs

1/2 cup almond milk

1/4 cup melted ghee

1 tbsp vanilla

Mix the dry ingredients in bowl and the wet in a separate bowl. Fold the wet into the dry and mix until just combined. Pour into a greased donut pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 8.
